I’m often asked what my daily life is like for me, so today I thought I’d give you an insight into what I get up too.
Being a musician isn’t always about late nights, recording sessions, and gigs. Many musicians like myself juggle a full-time job while pursuing their passion.
4:30 AM – Early Start to the Day
My alarm goes off before the sun rises. It might sound early, but this routine helps me stay productive. After a quick wake-up, I grab a cup of tea or coffee to kick-start my day.
6:00 AM – Work Begins
By 6 AM I’m at work where I focus on fabric dyeing for career and workwear clothing. This job is physically demanding and consists of 4 x 12 Hour Shifts Monday to Thursday. The work doesn’t stop on Fridays. I spend a lot of time on Fridays working with many organ clubs and clients adding any additional features they may require on the various websites I look after.
Back in 2023, I took part in an Inside the Factory promotional video showcasing what my job in fabric dyeing entails. It was a great experience to highlight the process behind the work I do daily!

12:30 PM – Lunch Break
My lunch break is a chance to recharge. I often take this time to check messages, think about upcoming projects, or even listen to music that inspires me.
6:00 PM – Work Ends
After a full day, I finally head home. Dinner is my first priority. Some nights, I chat with friends, but most evenings, I dedicate time to practicing.
7:30 PM – Practice & Content Creation
This is my music time! Depending on the day I might:
– Practice music of the tyros 4 Organ Setup.
– Work on planning my next livestream.
– Sometimes I fancy a night off and have a game with friends.
If I have a performance coming up, I’ll fine-tune my setlist and go through rehearsals.
9:00 PM – Relaxation & Reflection
By this time, I like to wind down—maybe watching some videos, listening to music, or brainstorming ideas for future performances. If I’m feeling creative, I’ll jot down blog or vlog ideas.
11:00 PM – Bedtime
After a long but fulfilling day, it’s time to rest. Sleep is crucial for both my energy levels and creativity, so I try to stick to a routine.
